So apparently there's this thing in Seattle called "June gloom"...it's exactly what it sounds like, and I'm not a big fan. We've been hearing reports this week of a heat wave on the East coast, yet we've been struggling to get into the 50's! And it's STILL raining. Bleh! I've heard rumors that this is the coldest June on record in the past 100 years or something ridiculous like that, but I haven't confirmed it.
Oh well, everyone keeps assuring us that summer will absolutely start on July 5th, so not to worry just yet. Granted, we have had a few sunny days here and there, and they've been just enough to give us a taste of how great summer will be. I'm ready for some more!
